On 22 March 2017, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) approved a corporate transaction involving the acquisition of Sito Oy by Wise Group Holding II Oy.
The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has concluded that the acquisition will not significantly impede effective competition in Finland.
Wise Group Holding II owns Wise Group Finland Oy that offers building industry consultancy, design and construction contracting services in Finland and the Baltic countries. Sito Oy specialises in consultation in infrastructure, land use, the environment and digital services.
The FCCA’s decision includes business secrets of the parties involved. The decision cannot be published until the business secrets have been removed, i.e. in around two weeks’ time.
