FCCA to look into the property management market

This week, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) has been inspecting the premises of certain companies operating in the property management business. The FCCA is investigating whether the companies have been guilty of anti-competitive measures in the property management market.

The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has a right to carry out inspections under the Competition Act to investigate competition law infringements. The fact that an inspection is carried out is not an indication of guilt on the part of the audited organisation.

The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority will deliver a decision on the basis of the inspection and other subsequent investigations. The FCCA will not comment on its suspicions or findings while the investigation is ongoing.
