On 29 June 2015, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) approved an acquisition whereby Assa Abloy Oy will gain control of Flexim Security Oy.
The parties to the acquisition operate in the door locking and security sector in Finland. According to FCCA’s estimate, the acquisition will not essentially prevent effective competition in the Finnish market or a substantial part of it.
FCCA’s decision includes the business secrets of the parties involved. The decision can only be published after the confidential information has been removed, which will take approximately two weeks.
