On 1 March 2017, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) approved a corporate transaction involving the acquisition of Lämpöpuisto Oy by St1 Oy.
The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has concluded that the acquisition will not significantly impede effective competition in the Finnish market.
St1 is a Finnish energy company that operates in the Nordic countries. St1’s business consists of fuel distribution, direct sales of energy products and services to private and corporate customers, and of renewable energy solutions.
Lämpöpuisto is an oil company, selling its customers heating oil and other liquid fuels. Before the acquisition, Lämpöpuisto was primarily a retailer of St1 Oy’s heating fuels.
FCCA’s decision will be published later on its website.
