FCCA approves acquisition of Sisco by Sentica Partners

On 10 November 2016, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority FCCA approved a transaction whereby Sentica Partners Oy will acquire, through the funds it manages, the housing construction specialist Sisco Oyj.

The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has concluded that the acquisition will not significantly impede effective competition in the Finnish market.

Sentica Partners is an independent private equity company focusing on owning and developing small and medium-sized Finnish companies.

Sisco is a Finnish housing construction company and the parent company of the Sisco group. Sisco has two subsidiaries: the property developer Sisco Asunnot Oy that designs and builds commercial properties, and Sisco Vuokra-asunnot Oy which develops property for public-benefit purposes.

The FCCA’s decision includes business secrets of the parties involved. The decision can only be published once all confidential information has been removed, which will take approximately two weeks.
