Finnish Consumer Ombudsman to look into Volkswagen emissions scandal

The Consumer Ombudsman is keeping a close look at the Volkswagen emissions scandal and cooperating with Trafi, the Finnish Transport Safety Agency.

The importer will contact Volkswagen owners to have their vehicles fixed.  Any compensation to consumers can only be assessed once the cars have been fixed.

The Consumer Ombudsman and Trafi will provide further information in due course, and give instructions to consumers.
