Up-to-date information about consumer rights on Consumer Advisory Service’s Facebook page

The national Consumer Advisory Service has opened a Facebook page for their consumer advice site Kuluttajaneuvonta.fi. The Facebook page publishes current information on consumer rights and obligations.

Consumer rights advisors respond to comments and messages left on the page. They provide general advice in resolving problems between consumers and businesses. Consumers requiring personal advice are referred to the customer service channels of the national consumer advisory service provided by local Register Offices.  Consumers can also contact consumer advisors by means of an online contact form (in Finnish) via Facebook.

“Social media enables us to engage in dialogue with consumers regarding their concerns,” says Marjatta Turunen, Director at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.

The page is maintained by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority and consumer rights advisors. The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority supervises the consumer advisory service of the local Register Offices which provide advice and help in problems between consumers and businesses.
