Newsletter 1/15 includes cases of train ticket marketing (VR), age verification of an mobile prize draw campaign (McDonald’s Oy), terms & conditions of car distance selling (Kamux Oy) and telemarketing of vitamins (VitaFin Oy) as well as telemarketing of a book club (Otavamedia).
Newsletter includes also an article on Consumer Ombudsman’s measures and how a consumer law breaking is dealt with using these different measures in Finland. In the editorial, Consumer Ombudsman ponders the meaning of trust in consumer transactions. There is also an expert article of behavioural economics and its possibilities in generating better regulation.
