On 10 October 2017, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) approved a business transaction whereby Sentica Partners Oy will acquire Varamiespalvelu Group Oy.
Sentica Partners is a private equity company focusing on owning and developing small and medium-sized Finnish companies.
Varamiespalvelu Group is a personnel services company that provides resource hiring services, home care services, organisational development services, invoicing services and recruitment services.
The parties to the acquisition do not have overlapping business operations in Finland. The FCCA has concluded that the acquisition will not significantly impede, as referred to in the Competition Act, effective competition in the Finnish market or a key segment of the market.
