FCCA has inspected bus and coach operators in Southwest Finland

The purpose of the inspections was to find out whether the operators were guilty of unlawful collaboration between competitors.

The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has a right to carry out inspections under the Competition Act to investigate competition law infringements. The fact that an inspection is carried out is not an indication of guilt on the part of the audited organisation.

The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority will deliver a decision on the basis of the inspection and other subsequent investigations. The FCCA will not comment on its suspicions or findings while the investigation is ongoing.
