You can report a hazardous product or service to the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes). If necessary, Tukes can have the product inspected and require that the vendor repair any defects in the product or discontinue selling it. Supervision of the safety of foodstuffs
The Finnish Food Authority supervises the safety, marketing and quality of food and drink, and monitors plant and animal health.
Municipal food control authorities inspect facilities in which foodstuffs are handled, and supervise package labelling and food hygiene. If you have any questions, feedback and complaints regarding foodstuffs, insufficient hygiene or package labelling, please contact the local health inspector. If you suspect that you have contracted food poisoning at a restaurant, please contact the local health inspector.
