Usually the best way to influence a company’s marketing practices is to provide feedback. A responsible company will listen to its customers.
Feedback may be provided by calling the company’s customer services, by filling in an online feedback form or as a freely formulated email or letter. The feedback may also be directed at the distributor of the advertisement, e.g. a TV company, a newspaper or a magazine.

If the company has an online customer service form, you can copy and paste the text from the complaint form into it.Feedback on marketing for companies (template) (pdf)
