The representatives of shipping companies and the operators of terminals have the obligation to tell travellers about their rights. Therefore, contact them if you are not receiving the necessary instructions.
Some of the traveller rights are valid throughout EU and some only domestically.
Rights prior to departure of the ship
The terms and conditions on cancellation vary by shipping company, so contact the shipping company as soon as possible if you want to cancel a trip.
When you cancel the trip
If departure from the harbour is delayed more than 90 minutes or is cancelled, you can demand the shipping company to cover meals and accommodations and you can demand a new travel route or refund equal to the ticket price.

If the ship arrives at its destination late, you can demand 25–50 % of the price of the ticket.

You can also demand reimbursement for damages caused by personal injury, damages caused by the delay to the customer and damages caused to your luggage
